I am a pastor and I want to go!
The vision of Scripture in Stone is that pastors and their spouse early in their ministry would have the opportunity to study the eternal truths of God’s Word in biblical lands.
This is to be a fully funded experience without financial burden to the pastor and thier spouse. This is not intended to be considered vacation time by the church, but rather professional development. This Bible Study Experience is also not intended to teach pastors how to lead their own groups to the Holy Land. We ask that the congregation would continue to pay normal salary and cover the cost of pulpit supply for the duration of the travel - usually two Sundays.
Travel plans will avoid Lent/Easter and Advent/Christmas seasons. Plans are underway for travel early in 2025 depending on funding.
We have found these trips physically demanding, educationally impactful and spiritually uplifting!
